"MONTTBLANC BROTHERS GRIMM STYLE ART. 128362"

“Once upon a time…” The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Brothers Grimm is dedicated to Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm and celebrates their work in collecting and reworking popular German and European fairy tales, including some of the most famous such as "Snow White", "Cinderella" and "Sleeping Beauty". The overall silhouette of the writing instrument takes the shape of an ancient mountain stick and the black color evokes the darkness of the forests, the usual scenery of the Grimm brothers' folk tales. Furthermore, the wave pattern on the body and hood is inspired by Rapunzel's hair and also evokes the shape of roots, a reference to the fact that the Brothers Grimm saw their linguistic work as a "roots-related research". The cap is crowned with the Montblanc emblem in precious resin. The platinum-coated clip, inspired by a knotty piece of wood, surprisingly reveals the profile silhouette of the Brothers Grimm when rotated. To pay homage to the magic of storytelling, the rhodium-coated Au 750 solid gold nib bears the design of the flames of a hearth, a place around which popular fairy tales were often told and handed down.
